This safe play area has been designed specifically for young children up to the age of 3. The soft play is protected with glass surroundings for you to keep an eye on the little ones. The gate also has a code for parents to ensure children remain safe inside.
The softplay has been designed to aid multi skills in young children. The equipment is suitable for rolling, to encourage balance and help hand eye co-ordination. The area includes different shapes and lots of toys to explore in a safe environment.
Most importantly, it gives pre-school children an opportunity to socialise and interact with other children.
Our sensory room has been designed specifically for little ones to enjoy light, movement and touch sensory.
The room includes colourful and calming bubble tubes, fibre optic rods, sensory lighting, infinity mirrors, a magic mirror and wall mounted sensory activities.
Set aside from the soft play area, the sensory room is quieter and safe for children to explore visually and through touch.
We have a dedicated sport arena at Sgiliau Play Centre. This is a safe playing area for multi sports. All ball games can be played inside, from football to basketball. Children can play in groups or practice shooting at goals in their own time.
As part of our 2024 redevelopment, we now have a fantastic soft-foam pit that offers young visitors the chance to climb the rope net, duel on the balance beam or even jump into an alternative foam pit from various heights.

Sgiliau offers a larger softplay area including slides, climbing nets, a ball pit, black whole slide and an astro slide. Children can duck and dive, explore different heights and obstacles. It’s a great way for children to explore, have fun and burn off some energy.
